The press was given access to the first act of the campaign and to develop their character to level 25 (the hundredth will be the maximum). It was not allowed to record the gameplay, so the published screenshots and videos of the gameplay are provided by Blizzard itself.

The journalists might not make a verdict on Diablo IV for several hours in it (on average from 4 to 12), but noted that the fourth part makes a positive impression, does not get bored by the end of the first act and leaves you hungry for more.

Employee Easy Allies praised the abundance of options in the character editor, the fascination of the story (cinematic cutscenes and scenes in the engine abound), the darker tone compared to Diablo III, and the relief of the game world.

Reviewer IGN believes that the more open structure works well in Diablo IV (side quests and random events do not get bored), and the skill tree in the project is simple “crazy” in terms of available options. You can reset skills for gold.

“God forbid any game that comes alongside Diablo IV, because I’m sure I’ll be too engrossed in my adventures in Sanctuary to pay attention to anything else.”concludes the IGN reporter.

Diablo IV is expected to release in 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. According to recent leakthe game will be released on June 5, and the announcement of the premiere date expected December 9 as part of The Game Awards 2022.
