Tesla drivers would increasingly be victims. The cause: the image of Elon Musk that sticks to the body of their car.
The electric car is not always seen favorably by a section of the population, always refractory to novelty. And this is all the more the case with the Tesla, which has become the symbol of THE electric car. Superchargers are often squatted by thermals as a showdown, for example. But the behaviors would go even further.
This is revealed a recent report from Axios, following conducting a survey of Tesla drivers in Iowa, USA. The latter indicated that they would be more and more molested by other drivers: blocked terminals, fish tails or refusal of priority would be daily situations. Worse still, many owners would be the victims of insults and other rude gestures for no apparent reason.
The Tesla vectors of the bad image of Elon Musk?
If the denial of the electric car is obvious, other reasons would explain these behaviors. According to Marc Geller, spokesperson for the Electric Vehicle Association, Elon Musk’s public positions explain this psychosocial phenomenon: his management of Twitter teams and, above all, the restoration of Donald Trump’s account on the network at the Blue Bird would have added fuel to the fire. At the very least, coal on the Tesla, as some owners have been able to pay the price.
According to them, they would be more victims of bad attentions in Tesla than when they drive any other car. It remains to be seen whether, here, Tesla drivers would not precisely pay more attention to other behaviors than when they are with a more common car. In any case, electric cars and Teslas in particular divide and lead, as usual, part of the population to rise up without rational reasons once morest another more minority part.
