FCC allows SpaceX to launch 7,500 more satellites

The company already has more than 3,000 satellites in orbit to bring internet connectivity to its customers on Earth.

La Federal Communications Commission a recently approved the deployment of 7,500 additional Gen2 satellites. They will be placed in orbits at 525, 530 and 535 km. SpaceX should thus be able to offer global coverage, according to the FCC.

Finally, remember that SpaceX has filed applications for a constellation of… 30,000 satellites.
