The young woman, also from Venezuela, reprimanded the subject for criticizing Christmas in Chile and called him “misfit.”
This weekend, a Venezuelan posted a video that went viral, where he criticized Christmas Eve in Chileaccusing that the country had negative energies and people looked sad.
“Look, it’s incredible, but Chile is a country with such negative energies that everyone lives sad here, everyone! The foreigner more than all, We Venezuelans ran out of happiness here, I mean, we live with sadness”, he said on the social network.
“I think that this is the only country where Christmas is not felt. Even in Venezuela, people feel Christmas. Not here, here it seems that Christmas never came. what a sad country”, he added.
His opinion generated a wave of reactions, among which there were those who agreed and others who reacted angrily to his comments. Faced with such controversy, a young woman also from Venezuela, residing in Chile, responded to her video.
This is Abigail Soto, who reprimanded her compatriot for the unfortunate comment. “And why don’t you go? You are definitely a misfit. If you don’t know the concept, look it up, ”he sentenced.
“That if Christmas arrived, that if it did not arrive, that is nobody’s problem. Everyone celebrates it at home, in their own way. We do not have to be pretending that others, foreign countries, are equal to our culture“, he claimed.
He also called for respect and good coexistence. “That’s where I say, we create xenophobia with stupid comments and then we go around playing the victims. We are the visit, whether we work or pay rent, we are the visit and we must respect it, ”he concluded.
