The major internet and telephone outage that affected the City of La Tuque, in Mauricie, on Saturday is over, confirmed the director of communications for the City of La Tuque.
During the night of Friday to Saturday, criminals caused damage to Bell facilities located in the Grand-mère sector in Shawinigan. Thus, Télébec customers find themselves without internet or a landline.
“The service should be restored at the end of the day, this Saturday, December 3, possibly around 5 p.m.,” said the City of La Tuque, specifying that the cell phone was not affected by this outage.
To reach the Sûreté du Québec during this outage, simply dial 911 or *4141 from a cell phone.
