Prince William meets US President Joe Biden in Boston (VIDEO)

The Prince of Wales is spending a busy three days in Boston for the Earthshot award. Before the ceremony this Saturday evening, Prince William met President Joe Biden.

As the pair stood in the cold Boston air outside the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, President Biden asked the prince where his coat was. Prince William also called the location a “spectacular setting” as the pair exchanged greetings. They then went inside the library to chat.

According to a spokesperson for the Prince of Wales, during the meeting Prince William expressed his gratitude to the American people for the warm welcome he and Kate Middleton received in Boston. They also discussed tonight’s Earthshot Prize ceremony and the finalists’ impact on the fight once morest climate change.

During their 30-minute encounter, they also shared memories of Queen Elizabeth II.

This is their fourth meeting in the past two years. They notably met at the UN climate change conference COP26 in Glasgow in 2021, and earlier this year President Biden and first lady Jill Biden were in the UK for Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral. .

“We send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, who mourn not just their Queen, but also their dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her legacy will live on in the pages of British history. and in the history of our world”, the Bidens said in a statement released following the death of Queen Elizabeth.

President Biden and Prince William met in the midst of a busy schedule. Last night, President Biden hosted his first State Dinner at the White House, a glittering, star-studded soiree attended by guests like Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet.

Tonight Prince William will attend the Earthshot Award Ceremony due to his trip to the United States.

Kate and William’s last visit to the United States was in 2014, when they were guests of then-President Barack Obama at the White House.

Their current trip comes days before Harry and Meghan are set to steal the show at an awards show in New York.

For many British media, Harry and Meghan have become the royal villains, turning their backs on duty while using their royal status to forge lucrative careers and earn millions, including through Netflix.
