Former EGJ and FvN rapper Bizzy Montana announces retirement

Bizzy Montana

The speculation is over – Bizzy Montana has officially confirmed that he is retiring. A real veteran is leaving the stage following around 20 years. With “water glass“ his tenth and last studio album will be released on December 23rd.

In a statement on his website, he looks back on his career and proves his lyrical finesse even in this text. With the help of his album titles he describes his career over the last 17 years. During his career, the rapper and producer was under contract for years with Ersguterjunge and Freund von Keiner, among others.

In the meantime, the 39-year-old father has built a life outside of music and has now decided that his story as a rapper is over. He definitely left his mark on the scene. We wish Bizzy all the best for the future!

Bizzy Montana statement

I think I started the whole thing with a “glass of whiskey”. That rap thing. At some point everything was like a blackout. Tied up by crises, dreams and label deals, I told the story of my life. The reality of the underclass. The music from the lower class. I was accompanied by friends, managers, fans and envious people, some of whom vanished into thin air.

It got gross, so I had to express my feelings with a touch of venom. And at some point the breath turned into pure poison. But following the lows came the highs. I continued to tell the story of the underclass and once once more found myself in a second blackout.

Until at some point reality came and once once more took my last breath away. Albums became EP’s. Bizzy Montana became Daniel Ott. Rapper, husband, friend, father and son, who now ends the whole thing with a “water glass”. With this water glass, Bizzy Montana’s last album will be released on December 23rd, 2022. Merry Christmas!
