51st UAE National Day tomorrow: Expatriate community salutes

Tomorrow is UAE National Day. The National Day is the anniversary of the formation of the UAE by various Emirates. Elaborate celebrations are underway in all the seven emirates to make the 51st National Day colorful. A three-day public holiday announced by the UAE to mark National Day has come into force from today. Now following the Sunday weekend, many institutions will be active only on Monday.

A colorful National Day parade was held in the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman today. A national day parade will be held tomorrow in Dera Mutina under the auspices of Dubai Markas. This is the first National Day since Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan assumed office as President. Many expatriate singers have released music albums to celebrate the National Day. Many are also saluting the Emirate on social media through artworks. During the National Day holidays, colorful fireworks will also be staged at Dubai Global Village, Expo City and many other places. Many of the expatriates are taking a trip to neighboring countries, including Qatar, where the World Cup is being held, as they have received a holiday of more than three days.
