Vizhinjam will not back down from the project; Vested interests are colluding to block development: Chief Minister | Kerala | Deshabhimani

Thiruvananthapuram> Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will not withdraw from the Vizhinjam project. Stopping construction is not feasible. The government does not intend to do so. Projects needed by the nation will not be abandoned due to opposition from any quarter. The Chief Minister said that the government hopes that everyone who is interested in the future of the country will cooperate.

It has been clarified that the project will not be abandoned. There has been no coastal erosion as part of the project. He said the government has nothing else to do in this regard and vested interests are trying to stop the development together.

Seven demands were raised in Vizhinjam. 6 of them have been approved by the cabinet sub-committee. If the project is abandoned, the loyalty of Kerala will be lost. There may be political differences but investors will not come if the next government abandons the project like a government. The Chief Minister also said that no matter what the guise comes, you should not think that you can destroy the government
