The opposition managed to approve two new censures, in the presidencies of Water Resources and Family of the Chamber, removing from office the socialist deputies, Nelson Venegas and Ana María Bravo.

The right managed to approve two new censures in the Water Resources and Family commissions of the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies, reaching five successful challenges and eight committees under his control.

It was by 7 votes once morest five, that the proposal of the UDI deputy, Felipe Donoso, ended with the presidency of the socialist, Ana María Bravo, and the same happened with the departure of the also PS, Nelson Venegas, from Water Resources.

Bravo, as all the censored presidencies have done, defended his management, stating that a transversal agenda was discussed and there was equanimity in the leadership.

Nevertheless, The most notorious thing is that the Defense and Citizen Security commissions, with Andrés Jouannet and Raúl Leiva, have not yet been censored, and there are many who recognize that there are internal doubts in the opposition regarding executing them.

The UDI told La Radio that it asked to suspend Security on Wednesday, because there were deputies with urgent meetings in Santiago, but above all, to give the commission time to prioritize and put on the table the projects that they have to analyze.

The first vice-president of the corporation, the deputy Carlos Bianchi, said that this is the moment to sit down to discuss a broad administrative agreement next year, and indeed the dialogue has already begun.

The Segpres minister, Ana Lya Uriarte, has been part of the conversations and Bianchi points to her precisely, as someone who should have a key role.

Internally, the deputy and president of Convergencia Social, Diego Ibáñez, does not view the opening of this conversation with bad eyes, but in his last statement, he made it clear that the path of censorship is not the path.

Asked regarding the intention of the right to force them to sit at the table through these motions, Ibáñez called on that sector to “chew well the fights they want to give” and accept that they lost the table elections.

The head of the National Renewal bench, Andrés Longton, has been present together with Jorge Alessandri from the UDI and Francisco Undurraga from Evópoli, in the preliminary efforts for 2023 to be the year of a new agreement.

Longton says that I Approve Dignity is the sector responsible for not wanting to advance the talks. According to him, they have to share the presidencies of commissions and also the table.

The Government has been present, as well as the entire table, and key actors such as the head of the PS bench, Marcos Ilabaca, in projecting a new understanding. The month of April is informally proposed as a time when it can crystallize, although there are those who believe in Chile Vamos that it can come faster.

Those who are in the talks assure that censorship of Vlado Mirosevic’s table has not been an issue, but they also recognize that tactically it would set back a possible broad agreement and the argument of the stability of the National Congress has also been heard.
