“Fun fact: in her portrait in the corridors of the National Assembly, it looks like Ms. Harel has just one leg.”
Indeed, on the portrait made by Denis Jacques when Ms. Harel was President of the National Assembly of Quebec (from 2002 to 2003), it really looks like she only has one leg.
However, it’s probably an optical illusion related to her legs being crossed. Or a play of light that camouflages his second leg.
As of this writing, Louise Harel still has her two legs.
