The Government of Cordoba granted this Wednesday a salary increase to the workers of the Health provincial public.
In a meeting held by the hospital delegates with the area minister, Gabriela Barbasthe official informed them that it is a decision that will come out by decree.
in dialogue with Chain 3Barbás expressed: “There is a clear definition that The entire health team is a critical human resource. That’s why. is awarded, for the whole team, a 40 percent of the basic for each of these groups. And this same additional is extended to the administrative staff and stretcher-bearers”.
“At the same time, in everything that is the salary mass of the health team, the 100 percent is conformed as a remunerative conceptthat is to say, it impacts both the Christmas bonus and the retirement”, added Barbás.
The official pointed out that the title of specialist is increased with the aim of “continuing to promote continuous training”.
“This is added to all the other restructuring, in which the parities are, the incorporation into a permanent plant, the strengthening with human resources, etc., and leads to a doctor who has just entered and without a specialist title to collect in December 210.044 pesos out of pocket,” he explained.
“And, thus, there are different examples for the different disciplines, such as doctors, biochemists, social workers and all members of the health team, such as administrative staff, ambulance drivers, stretcher bearers, etc.,” he remarked.
When asked regarding how they take the differences between this group of representatives of health workers and the Union of Public Employees (SEP), the minister replied: “We are always going to talk to all sectors. This is not a parity or negotiation table, but a dialogueof construction to always improve public health and the center of this is the patients”.
Questioned regarding the reaction of the delegates of the hospital group, she said: “She is always respectful. All the points that were raised seemed very good to them. Of course, there are many more to work on in the medium and long term. This table does not start and end today. They always transmit it to the rest of the assemblies. This is his work dynamics”.

The meeting was held following the government’s first proposal was rejected and began at 6:00 p.m. For now, it has not been revealed whether the health workers agree.
Regarding the previous proposal, Gabriela Santarelli, representative of the Eva Perón Hospital in Santa Rosa de Calamuchita, had explained to Chain 3 the reasons for rejection.
“What is being asked to be reviewed has to do with salary. Law 7233 did not have any modifications, except for some additional ones, but that would impact only a small group“, he indicated.
Said standard establishes a basic of 40 thousand pesos for administrative and up to 80 thousand pesos for doctors. The order is a 200% increase.
The rejection was communicated following the initiative of the Ministry of Health was discussed in different assemblies in all the hospitals involved.
Furthermore, Santarelli had spoken of the Opposition from the sector to representation by the SEP.
“We have had a position for many years and we understand that health is a specific area, which needs representatives who know the depth of reality, as well as teachers or bankers. Today we do not consider that we have that,” he said.
Finally, he indicated that “everything that is resolved in these assemblies will be implemented by decree of the governor.”
“It is in the desire of the more than 14,000 health workers to reach a solution as quickly as possible. We know that these measures have an impact on the population. We look forward to reaching an agreement quickly,” he completed.
