The risks of tooth extraction
In this context, Dr. Marwan Abdel-Gawad, a dental specialist, pointed out the necessity of installing or implanting another molar following the extraction of the infected molar, to avoid serious damage.
Marwan added that the vacuum left by the extraction of the molar in the jaw may lead to the movement of the teeth inward or outward, which negatively affects their shape, in addition to suffering from mismatch, which causes great difficulty in chewing food.
He explained that some patients may suffer from bacterial infections in the nerves surrounding the teeth following the extraction of the epithelium, so the doctor is keen to prescribe antibiotics to combat infection.
