Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, today issued a limited local movement for a number of general secretaries and assistant general secretaries of the governorates.
Major General Hisham Amna referred to the ministry’s continuous follow-up to the performance of local administration leaders in all governorates of the Republic to control the local work system, improve services provided to citizens, inject new blood into leadership positions in the governorates, and escalate distinguished leaders to assume responsibility.
The Minister of Local Development stressed that the current period requires maximum effort from the leaders of the local administration and dedication in performing the work and tasks assigned to them to implement and follow up the directives of the President of the Republic and the assignments of the Prime Minister in many service files that concern the citizen in the governorates.
Major General Hisham Amna explained that the local movement that he approved includes the appointment of Engineer Hazem Muhammad Al-Ashmouni, General Secretary of Al-Buhaira, to the position of Secretary-General of Cairo Governorate, and the assignment of Major General Yahya Muhammad Al-Adgham, Head of Al-Nuzha District, to the position of Assistant Secretary-General of Cairo, and the appointment of Major General Ayman Abdel-Al-Sharif, Assistant General Secretary of Al-Gharbia. The post of Secretary General of Dakahlia.
The Minister of Local Development added that the local movement also included the appointment of Major General Hazem Muhammad Ezzat, General Secretary of Dakahlia, to the post of Secretary General of Beni Suef Governorate, and the elevation of Engineer Muhammad Muhammad al-Safi as Assistant General Secretary of Sharkia and his appointment as Secretary General of Sharkia, as well as the assignment of Major General Ahmed Muhammad Anwar, head of the East Nasr City neighborhood in General Secretary job.
Major General Hisham Amna stressed that the Ministry of Local Development in its various sectors will continue to follow up and evaluate the performance of all local administration leaders and heads of cities, centers and neighborhoods in the various governorates, in coordination with the governors and all concerned agencies to select the best elements and push them to the required leadership positions during the coming period and exclude the negligent and transfer them to administrative positions.
