Samsung’s supply chain list released, BOE removed, Taiwan factory removed | Anue tycoon – Eurasian stocks

According to a recent report by South Korean media The Elec, Samsung has released a supply chain list for 2022. BOE, Alps Electric, Nitto Denko, and ROHM have been kicked out of the list. Sunny Optical, a major Chinese optical manufacturer, has gradually become a key supplier. AUO (2409-TW), Innolux (3481-TW) and other four, PCB factory Zhichao (8213-TW) are removed.

The list is related to the procurement of Samsung’s top 80% parts. It is worth noting that the panel manufacturer BOE is not on this year’s list. The report pointed out that Samsung is expanding the panel procurement volume of China Star Optoelectronics and LGD. Although the third quarter financial report It still revealed that there is still a cooperative relationship with BOE, but the industry believes that BOE’s elimination is related to the decline in Samsung’s TV sales this year, which in turn affects the supplier’s procurement ratio.

In addition, Sunny Optical has gradually become an important component supplier for Samsung. According to the report, this reveals that the purchase of Samsung mobile phone lens modules is increasing. It is expected that the lens of the Galaxy S23 flagship model next year will also be provided by Sunny Optical.

In terms of Taiwanese factories, panel double tiger AUO, Innolux, China Optoelectronics (5371-TW) is still in the supply chain list, mobile phone chip giant MediaTek (2454-TW) is also on the list, but Zhichao (8213-TW) are not included in this year’s list.
