The astronomical Friday in Jeddah announced today that the moon is being monitored at the age of 6 days, in conjunction with the planet Saturn, as it separates them by regarding 3 degrees, and appears in the sky of the Arab world, following sunset today, Tuesday, November 29, and the beginning of the night.
Good opportunity for monitoring
The “Jeddah Astronomer” said that the moon will appear to be below the left of Saturn at the beginning of the night, and because of the apparent distance between them in this conjunction, they will not appear together in the field of view of the telescope, but this can be done with binoculars.

See Saturn with the naked eye
Engineer Majed Abu Zahra, head of the Astronomical Society in Jeddah, explained that Saturn is the second largest planet following Jupiter, with a diameter of 9 times greater than the diameter of Earth. A planet in our solar system can be easily seen with the naked eye as a golden point.
And he stated: “Saturn is distinguished by a wonderful system of rings that can be seen only through telescopes. The main ring covers almost the distance between the Earth and the Moon, and it is only one kilometer thick.”
And he continued: “By observing the position of the moon at the same time every day, he will notice that its movement is towards the east in relation to the stars and planets, so the next evening, he will notice that the moon has moved away from Saturn towards the east, apparently heading towards Jupiter, which is its natural movement in orbit around the Earth.”
