Saudi has revised the annual technical inspection fee for vehicles. Revised fee rates for various vehicles range from 45 Rials to 205 Rials. Those who fail the first test will be charged a fee of 15 to 68 riyals for re-examination.
The list of revised fees approved by the Council of Ministers for conducting annual technical inspection or Fahs of vehicles has been published. The inspection fee is 100 Riyals for the first time for private cars, taxis, vehicles carrying 10 to 15 passengers, and vehicles carrying goods weighing less than three and a half tons. Those who fail the inspection will have to pay an additional 33 Riyals for re-inspection.
For vehicles capable of carrying 16 to 30 people, and vehicles intended to carry goods weighing between three and a half tons and 12 tons, the fee is fixed at 141 Riyals for the first time and 47 Riyals for re-inspection. For vehicles carrying goods of more than three and a half tons without an engine, which are transported together with other vehicles, a fee of 184 riyals must be paid for the first time and 61 riyals for re-inspection.
205 riyals is to be paid for the first time for vehicles with a capacity of carrying more than 30 people and for vehicles intended to carry goods weighing more than 12 tons. If you fail the first test, you will have to pay another 68 Riyals for retesting. The first time fee is 45 Riyals and 50 Riyals for two-wheeled bikes and three- or four-wheeled bicycles. A fee of 17 riyals has also been fixed for their re-examination.
