First “Butterfly Dance” in Eisenstadt

With Markus Füreder from Linz – better known as Parov Stelar – the “Butterfly Dance” festival offers a top-class, local headliner and, according to concert organizer Ewald Tatar, will establish itself successfully right from the start. “I believe in the festival. The festival is compact, the line-up is good. This is now made even more danceable. And that was always what I noticed, what people actually ask for a lot more here. And that’s why I absolutely believe that at the end of the day, the Butterfly Dance will be sold out at the very first edition.

International bands such as Stereo Mcs, Kosheen and Keziah Jones complete the varied line-up of the new festival.

Lovely Days mit Jethro Tull

Just one day later, on July 8, 2023, the popular Lovely Days Festival will enter the next round – classic rock bands like Jethro Tull and Mother’s Finest will once more attract around 10,000 people to Eisenstadt.

The cooperation between the Esterhazy Kulturbetriebe and the concert promoter Tatar has been hitting fertile ground for many years – according to cultural director Karl Wessely. “We want to be in constant dialogue with the customer – Ewald Tatar does that just like we do and that is why, contrary to the trend that you hear once more and once more from the media, we currently have sold out houses. I think we simply tick very, very similarly and that’s why we’re very good partners,” says Wessely.

“Burgenland Arena” at Nova Rock

At the Nova Rock on the Pannonia Fields in Nickelsdorf there will once more be a “Burgenland Arena” next year. The country will present itself to the public with delicacies and various local products. A corresponding cooperation with Burgenland Tourism will initially run for three years, announced Tatar. The line-up is almost complete with Sum 41 and Electric Callboy.

The “Burgenland Arena”, which already existed a few years ago, is aimed in particular at visitors arriving from abroad. According to Tatar, that was almost 40 percent of the guests last year, the majority from Germany.

The booking for the two main stages at the festival site has been completed. In addition to Sum 41, Electric Callboy and the already announced acts, Incubus, Within Temptation, Wolfmother and Three Days Grace will be there, among others. “I think summer can come, even if it’s just getting cold right now,” emphasized Tatar.
