Sonic Frontiers came to our consoles very recently, with this installment our beloved blue hedgehog made the leap to the new generation with a revolutionary new game. However, the launch did not go as expected, as Xbox Series S players had a good problem; mightn’t use performance mode.
The little sister of the Microsoft family found that the game was locked at 30 FPS and they had no option to change this. Today, the official account of the game in Twitter has confirmed that with the new update This is not a problem anymore. This mode is now available to all players.
Sonic Frontiers improves dramatically on Xbox Series S
In addition to this big problem, the game also fixes some small bugs, such as a boss disappearing on Kronos Island when you retry the fight. And furthermore, a problem where one of the Chaos Island icons appeared as blocked despite having completed the event.
As you can see, it looks like SEGA has no intention of leaving Sonic Frontiers aside. With this update, apart from the small fixes, it’s great news to finally have performance mode on Xbox Series S. Have you tried Sonic Frontiers? If not, here is the complete analysis from my partner Gabriel where he tells you everything you need to know.
