Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are preparing to fly to Boston for the Earthshot Prize Awards evening.
Kate Middleton and Prince William are preparing to fly to Boston for their third official visit to the United States. Their arrival on American soil is scheduled for Wednesday, November 30. The couple had first traveled across the Atlantic in 2011. Three years following Los Angeles, it was in New York that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had settled down.
Direction Boston for this new official trip which was to last three days. According to the American magazinePeople“, Prince William and Kate Middleton will be on their arrival Wednesday welcomed at the town hall of Boston. Thursday, the couple will meet organizations involved in the protection of the environment. Friday, Kate Middleton will visit a center for child development at Harvard University while for his part, the prince William will visit the Presidential Library and the John F. Kennedy Museum.
A majestic evening ahead
The major object of their trip happens to be the Earthshot Prize Awards on Friday evening. Prince William and Kate Middleton have planned a majestic evening for the second edition of the awards ceremony, saluting work in environmental innovation. Actors and artists will join the royal couple. Rami Malek, Catherine O’Hara et Shailene Woodley will give out prizes while Billie Eilish, Annie Lennox, Ellie Goulding or even Chloe x Halle will ensure the show. Prince William will conclude the evening with a speech. The event will be broadcast live on the BBC channel.
The Duke of Cambridge had personally announced their came across the Atlantic last July in a video broadcast on their social networks. For the moment, their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis (9.7 and 4 years old) do not seem to be on the trip.
