Apple tweaks a new anti-piracy feature

With iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2, Apple wants to launch a new feature which consists of fast and easy deployment of corrective OS updates, adding no new function, but resolving potential security vulnerabilities. The idea is to minimize the time during which hackers can take advantage of a breach in iOS or iPadOS.

A first test of this type of security updates has already been made with iOS 16.2 beta 3. And yesterday it was a second test that Apple carried out, sending to developers who have the beta 3 version of iOS 16.2 precisely, a new update called iOS Security Response.

In the future, therefore, and as announced by Apple, these updates will be frequent, both for iOS and for other Apple systems, iPadOS and macOS in particular. Until then, the Californian firm would prepare more substantial updates to its OS to bring regarding the resorption of the fault. With these “Security Response”, the activity of hacking Apple devices will be complicated, that’s for sure.

What do you think of these security updates for iOS and other Apple OS?
