He added that health symptoms resulting from nicotine poisoning include vomiting, sweating, dizziness, lethargy, difficulty breathing, and palpitations.
On the other hand, scientists said that electronic smoking (Vaping) may “awaken cancer cells, and may cause a new wave of cancer within ten years.”
In a report published last September, The Independent newspaper quoted researchers at the Francis Crick Institute (FCI) as saying that “while vaping is safer than smoking traditional cigarettes, the long-term health risks are not clear.”
Professor Charles Swanton, clinical scientist at FCI and chief medical officer at Cancer Research UK, says vaping poses a potential threat to people’s health.
The researchers’ findings suggest that irritants such as air pollution cause inflammation, which is then followed by a healing process that “awakens” dormant cells that can cause cancerous mutations, and the researchers fear that vaping may lead to this as well.
