Meteorology: We detected cloud cover that covered 90% of the country today

Dr. Mahmoud El-Kayati, a member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center, said that the cloud cover that all Egyptians witnessed was over most regions of the republic and covered 90% of all parts, but it was not accompanied by rain.

And Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qayati added, in a phone call to the “Min Masr” program, with the journalist Amr Khalil, on the CBC channel, that it is expected that over the next 48 hours we will be exposed to an extension of the seasonal Sudan depression, and part of it will begin to extend to include most regions of the Republic with an extension. A depression in the upper atmosphere begins to pass from the western side to the eastern side.

And he continued: “It is expected that clouds will multiply, and mostly light rain is expected on areas of the northern coasts and the Red Sea mountain ranges. We expect light rain to fall in the northern regions during the next 48 hours, and the chance of torrential rains does not exist.”
