Emirates News Agency – A Singaporean delegation reviews the programs of the Dubai Police Academy

DUBAI, November 27, WAM/ A delegation from the Singapore Police Academy reviewed the programs of the Dubai Police Academy for postgraduate students, male and female candidates, and regular evening studies students. They also listened to an explanation of its goals, mission, and future vision.

This came during the delegation’s visit to the academy’s headquarters and their meeting with His Excellency Major General Dr. Ghaith Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academy and Training Affairs, in the presence of Brigadier Badran Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of the General Training Department, Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Butti Al Shamsi, Acting Director of the Dubai Police Academy, and Brigadier General Sultan Ali Khamis. Al Shamsi, Acting Deputy Director of the Academy, and a number of officers.
Major General Ghaith Al Suwaidi welcomed the visiting delegation, which included His Excellency Major General Anwar Abdullah, CEO of the Singapore Police Academy, and Mr. Lian Qiyim Hua, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Operations Affairs, and their escorts, stressing the keenness of Dubai Police, under the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief Dubai Police, to enhance joint cooperation with all security and police institutions and agencies related to security work, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences and learning regarding the best experiences and successful practices in police work.
The delegation visited the general training field, to review the daily training of the members, and listened to songs presented by the Dubai Police Music Band, then the delegation moved to the Dubai Police Officers Club to watch a film regarding the academy.
