Man arrested for failing to report sexual abuse against his two daughters

A complaint was received from the director of the high school where the minors studied.

Authorities from the Jesús Enrique Lossada municipality, in Zulia state, arrested a man for knowing regarding the abuse of his two daughters and not presenting the crime to the security forces.

Officials of the Zulia Police Force (Cpez) received a complaint from the director of the high school, in the La Concepción parish, where the adolescents studied.

The victims stated that they spoke with their father regarding an alleged sexual abuse by a cousin, but the detainee ignored the fact.

Commissioner Sergio Villamil, general director of Cpez, indicated that the two 13 and 14-year-old sisters attended an interview with an educational psychologist at the school, following which they revealed the sexual assault committed by their relative, who is outside the country. .

A police commission located the father of the young women, for which reason they proceeded to their capture.

The man will be presented before the Public Ministry (MP) for the crime of omission of sexual abuse.
