Curling – Europeans: Switzerland loses in the final against Scotland – rts.ch

CC Geneva failed to bring gold to the Europeans in Östersund and thus avenge the ladies beaten by Denmark a few hours earlier. The Swiss lost 5-4 in the final once morest the Scots.

Facing the reigning European champions, skip Yannick Schwaller and his teammates Benoît Schwarz, Sven Michel and Pablo Lachat came very close to victory.

But Scottish skip Bruce Mouat played his role perfectly, taking advantage of the last rock on the 10th end and as Scotland trailed 4-3. With a superb stroke of two, Mouat squirted the Swiss stones to afford a 3rd continental crown following those of 2018 and 2021.
