The naturopath Isabelle Duquay, at the invitation of the association “Mice and books of friends of the library”, held a conference on Saturday, November 19 on the practices of this unconventional medicine. In front of regarding sixty people, in the room of associations of Prayssac, the naturopath explained, using visuals, all the aspects of practices all stemming from natural means.

Thanks to razor-sharp visuals, Isabelle approached iridology, which uses the observation of the iris (through photographic enlargement) to apprehend the general well-being of a person. Indeed, each sector of the iris corresponds to an organ. A naturopath Hippocrates said besides “As are the eyes, such is the body”. Similarly, “plantar reflexology” determines on the soles of the feet a miniaturized representation of the body. Massages and acupressure of this part of the body have already been practiced since antiquity. A debate began at the end of the session before the traditional drink.
