Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson only listened to his courage on Friday night when he came to the defense of his teammate Kristopher Letang.
He needed quite a bit, because the player who had just hit Letang hard was Flyers tough Nicolas Deslauriers.
Pettersson agreed to drop the gloves, and came out of the fight undamaged, which is a great feat in itself. His teammates undoubtedly appreciated it a lot.
