A traveler was called to explain the contents of his luggage to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at JFK airport in New York, while it contained an unusual item.
Before boarding the plane to Orlando, Florida and passing the x-ray terminals, a piece of luggage caught the eye.

Authorities discovered what looked like a cat. It was then that they asked the owner of the suitcase to reveal its contents.
The zippered opening also showed a few wisps of red hair.

It is indeed a ginger cat, comfortably installed and visibly safe and sound, who has been seen.
We’re letting the cat out of the bag on a hiss-toric find. This CATch had our baggage screening officers @JFKairport saying, “Come on meow”! Feline like you have travel questions reach out to our furiends @AskTSA. They’re available every day, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (ET). pic.twitter.com/LpIkLbAgzC

This discovery most likely saved the life of this feline who was able to return home safely.
For passengers who intentionally wish to travel with their animal, it is mandatory to place them in a transport cage in the hold or in the cabin.
