Sharjah Media City organized “Shams” in an interactive session on the topic of creating positive and purposeful content.

In this session, Fahd Haikal, the maker of meaningful content, spoke regarding the importance of this topic, his experience in providing meaningful content that promotes diversity, and preserves societal values and authentic customs, in line with the role and message of the media, regardless of the diversity of its tools and platforms.

He talked regarding the importance of meaningful content and said, “The meaningful content must have a clear message of interest to the audience of followers, and there must be a clear line for each content maker to be able to communicate this message to his audience. On the other hand, interaction from followers and expressing opinion through comments and constructive positive criticism enriches the content and enriches the message, and is an important factor in developing the experience of preparing content and increasing its spread.

Heikal added, “My experience in general with the content industry goes back several years, and it started gradually from written texts, through recorded audio clips, to visual content. The transition from one stage to another was mainly driven by the amount of interaction I received from the followers and their encouragement to me. The focus for me was on positive messages and their role in enhancing communication between individuals and strengthening community relations.

He explained that there are many content makers, as modern technology has given everyone the opportunity to produce and present various types of content, but creating positive content requires effort, and a successful and thoughtful choice.

The session came on the sidelines of Shams’ participation in the first session of the World Media Congress.
