Equality is not regarding wearing the same clothes, first comes revolution in some other respects: Shine Tom Chacko
Shine Tom Chacko says that wearing the same clothes and going out many times is not equal. Shine also talks regarding telling women only to go to another house following marriage.
Shine said that women should bring revolution in such matters first. Shine said this in an interview with Matinee Live.
” Where there is equality. Equality is not regarding wearing the same clothes and going out at different times. When you come following the wedding, you will only tell your daughter that this is your house and that you should go and live there. That is political incorrectness. There is no equality.
Does anyone say that to men? We can’t even go to the house of our neighbors. That’s when women are asked to go and stay in an unfamiliar house one morning. They have yet to question it or change it.
That’s where women have to bring the revolution. But going out at the same time and wearing the same clothes is not equality. Women are told to draw a circle and live by it. We are not equal even in thought. “We are thinking the same things that one thought,” Shine said.
He also talked regarding watching movies on OTT. Shine said that he became an actor because he watched movies in theaters on a big screen, and today with the advent of OT, people are ruining movies.
He added that people think that a movie’s success is the result of its promotion and he used to see the movie only by putting up a single poster.
Shine’s next film is Christopher starring Mammootty. B. Directed by Unnikrishnan, the script of the film was written by Udaykrishnan. Apart from Shine and Mammootty, the film also stars Aishwarya Lakshmi, Amala Paul and Nitin Thomas in lead roles.
