UN Human Rights Council votes for resolution against Iran – Iran

Tehran/Geneva – The UN Human Rights Council has passed a resolution once morest Iran that seeks to independently investigate the violent crackdown by Tehran’s leadership once morest the protest movement. The majority of the body followed a request from Germany and Iceland on Thursday in Geneva. Experts are to document violations of human rights and collect evidence in order to be able to hold those responsible for the violence accountable.
