Fans of the program presented as part of “Swing à Mirepoix” by Georges Torsiello and his “Sérénity Quartet”, should not miss the musical evening organized by the association Echappées Culturelles, this Saturday November 26, from 9 p.m. the Paul Dardier room.
Georges Torsiello, former saxophone and clarinet teacher at the municipal school of Mirepoix, who currently teaches in Castelnaudary, will be on stage with his “Indiana 5T”, for an immersion in New Orleans jazz.
This quintet is made up of five passionate musicians who have chosen to revisit the standards of jazz, beguine and swing. By bringing their personal touch, they have created a real group identity, to offer a new and original approach.
