8 new tracks open their doors on December 7 in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Additional Tracks Pass

Eight new circuits will brighten up the end-of-year celebrations on Mario Kart 8 Deluxethanks to the DLC Mario Kart 8 Deluxe additional tracks pass on Nintendo Switch, starting December 7. This Wave 3 will include the fields of the Peach Garden, a circuit originally published on Nintendo DS, but also the frosty joys of the Festive Mountain, a circuit from the Mario Kart Tour, full of panoramas and seasonal music… a course made of icy peaks and majestic trees! Also, you will have the joy of discovering, among other things, the tourist sites of the Detour in London, from the Mario Kart Tour, and the galactic bends of the Nintendo 3DS Rainbow Road. Wave 3 includes the Stone and Moon Cups, made up of famous timeless circuits, which appeared in the Mario Kart games on, among others, Wii, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS consoles. Each circuit can be enjoyed locally or online. The circuits are divided as follows:

  • stone cutter
    • Detour to London – Leave your opponents flabbergasted by skidding around historic monuments, and reach first place on the podium by triumphing on this circuit inspired by the English capital, originally published in Mario Kart Tour.
    • Lac Boo – Get your feet wet on spooky asphalt on this Boos-packed circuit, set on the edge of a haunted lake. A circuit originally featured in Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
    • Mount Scree – On the menu of this circuit from the game Mario Kart 7: tight turns at high altitude and rocks bouncing everywhere!
    • Vermeil Wood – Leap through the dead leaves of this autumnal circuit, from Mario Kart Wii, and rush through the gigantic trees.
  • Moon Cup
    • Berlin stroll – Watch out for Whomps and Thwomps who threaten to fall on you, and enjoy the sublime panoramas of this circuit from the Mario Kart Tour.
    • Jardin Peach – Chirping birds, chained Chomps chewing, and shimmering flowery fields… The immense gardens of Peach Castle, which first appeared in Mario Kart DS, constitute an exciting circuit.
    • festive mount – Take on the halfpipe and carve through the snowy hills of this charming winter circuit, taken from the Mario Kart Tour, and full of giant candy canes and other wrapped gifts.
    • Rainbow Road – The Rainbow Road winds and twists in all directions around small planets and celestial bodies to create a cosmic circuit, initially available in Mario Kart 7 on Nintendo 3DS.

Wave 3 will be added to Wave 1 and Wave 2, which will represent half of the Additional Circuits Pass. 24 other circuits will then be discovered, as they are launched next year. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Additional Tracks Pass is made up of six distinct Waves, each with eight tracks, all available by the end of 2023.
