Poland failed to beat Mexico as they entered Group C of the 2022 World Cup. Robert Lewandowski, who missed a penalty, and his teammates drew 0-0 at 974 Stadium in Doha.
This part turned out to be very disappointing. One of the rare emotions occurred in the 58th minute when goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa (37) brilliantly diverted a penalty kick kicked by Lewandowski. The doorman will keep at least one good memory of his 133rd selection, while the Barça striker is still waiting for his first success in the World Cup …

For the rest, the Mexicans never managed to move the solid opposing defensive organization despite possession of the ball largely in their favor. Wojciech Szczesny thus had to make only one save worthy of the name, on a shot from Edson Alvarez deflected from the head by Henry Martin (64th).
The debates were above all characterized by numerous approximations, enormous technical waste and a lack of risk-taking. In short, it was really a trip to the end of boredom for the spectators…
