The award witnessed the qualification of 28 artworks out of 76 works, presented by creative artists of 13 different nationalities living in the UAE, from the age of 18 years and over. The award for the drawing category was won by artist Sania Muhammad Adnan, through her artwork that expresses the establishment of cultural identity And it depends on a set of factors and values, and she indicated that the 21st century is the century of globalization, where all societies with different cultures live, stressing that adherence to the past, identity and heritage is one of the most important ways of progress.
While the photography category was won by the artist Zahraa Ali Attaei, who wanted through her work to highlight the past and its impact on the present, and to refer to the changes, ideas and practices that people go through over time.
As for the award chosen by the jury in the drawing category, it went to the artist Bodour Hamdi Azzam, through which she expressed nostalgia for the past in all its details, describing it as blessed times and the most important thing that distinguishes it is the presence of ancestors, likening the transformation of time by referring to the transformation of authentic Arabic coffee into coffee.
