The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that there is no child under two years old who has not been infected with the syncytial virus..and continued: “There is no cause for concern.”
Dr. Rasha Kamal, Director of Abu Al-Rish University Hospital, said that prevention methods and precautionary measures must be followed, such as hand washing, continuous disinfection, and not exposure to cold, noting that there is no vaccine for the virus and it has no sustainable immunity in the body.
And she continued, “There is no vaccine for the syncytial virus yet, and obtaining the influenza vaccine does not protect once morest corona or the syncytial virus.”
