The filming of the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians should be completed next month. However, the casting never ceases to reveal itself. A few days ago, we learned that the god Hermes will be embodied by lin manuel miranda and on November 18, 2022, Variety revealed that the actors Jay Duplass (Transparent, The Mindy Project) et Timothy Omundson (This Is Us, Galavant) will be the interpreters of the gods Hades and Hephaestus. Be careful though, they are described as guests and not regulars.
Two gods of opposite character
- Jay Duplass will play Hades, the god of the underworld, who feels like an outcast within his family of Greek gods and is a misunderstood genius. He holds a certain grudge for his past wrongs and plays his cards close to his chest.
- Timothy Omundson will embody Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths. His strength is legendary, and his ability for kindness and mercy sets him apart from his brothers and sisters in the world of the gods.
Series Percy Jackson and the Olympians is the adaptation of the first eponymous book of the literary series of Rick Riordan. Percy Jackson is a 12-year-old boy who learns he is a demigod. He has just come to terms with his new supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his lightning. Now Percy must cross America to find him and restore order to Olympus.
