Kuwait City, Kuwait: On November 18, The Walt Disney Company Middle East and Alshaya Group opened the region’s first stand-alone Disney store at Grand Avenue – The Avenues Mall in Kuwait. The opening was attended by a group of distinguished guests and representatives from the Alshaya Group, in addition to a large crowd of more than 1,000 Disney fans.
The opening ceremony witnessed many fun surprises and presenting gifts for the little ones, so that everyone might enjoy a fantasy atmosphere inspired by the wonderful world of Disney.

The store covers an area of more than 800 square meters, and displays a variety of products for Disney fans of all ages, exclusive collections for the Middle East, in addition to a wide range of products from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters and films that are everyone’s favourites. The assortment also includes a wide variety of fashions and accessories, children’s toys, dolls, home decor, and select collectibles, in addition to distinctive fashion collections for children and adults.
Disney friends across the region can visit more than 30 Disney “shop-in-store” locations in Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. Disney products are located inside the Debenhams and Mothercare stores of the Alshaya Group, so that everyone can enjoy the atmosphere and Disney worlds throughout the Middle East.
