A 34-year-old man, suspected of having raped a 96-year-old woman at her home in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), this Saturday morning, was arrested and placed in police custody, we learned.
The thirties entered the home of the nonagenarian located in the rue des Jumeaux, around 7 a.m. He assaulted the resident who claims to have been raped. The victim reportedly opened up to this man, thinking it was his nurse. It was the latter who put the aggressor to flight, who fled on his arrival, jostling her.
The police were alerted and the forces of order launched a search for the author. A patrol from the anti-crime brigade (BAC), provided with his description, arrested him shortly followingwards.
The victim, who walks with difficulty, was taken to the Rangueil hospital, without his vital prognosis being engaged. An investigation for aggravated rape has been opened.
