Harrison Ford, Mads Mikkelsen et Boyd Holbrook are revealed in never-before-seen images of the highly anticipated Indiana Jones 5realized by James Mangold.
That’s it, it’s coming, it’s almost here, the long-awaited (and feared) new sequel to the saga Indiana Jones. After a trip to Crystal Skull Kingdom which has almost unanimously disappointed fans of the saga, this fifth installment will be an opportunity to offer, at least we hope, a more satisfying ending to the character introduced in The Raiders of the Lost Arkin 1981.
Failing to be the official conclusion of the iconic 80s saga (a series is already in preparation for Disney +), Indiana Jones 5 might well be the last film of its interpreter Harrison Ford. Indeed, at now 80 years old, the actor who also played for Francis Ford Coppola, Robert Aldrich, George Lucas, Ridley Scott and Alan J. Pakula will soon leave the film sets following more than 55 years of career.
Nice symbol as returning to one of his most iconic roles with Indiana Jones 5who has also recently unveiled through some new images of the casting :
retirement is over
Brown jacket, yellowish shirt, heroic pose and of course legendary hat : it is indeed this good Indiana Jones who points the tip of his nose in a first photogram unveiled by the media Empire. At his side, we discover for the first time the characters of Mads Mikkelsen and Boyd Holbrook, in two images where each one looks more or less threatening.
While waiting to discover more regarding the film, remember thatIndiana Jones 5 is directed by the very interesting James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3h10 for Yuma, Logan). On the writing side, it is the Butterworth brothers (Edge of Tomorrow, Le Mans 66, Flag Day) who took care of the scenario. In front of the camera, we will find alongside the three actors unveiled the fascinating Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

During his interview for Empire, Harrison Ford a promis un film “full of adventure, laughter and emotion” adding that it will also be an opus “complex and ambiguous.” It’s all the harm we wish for this new chapter of the saga Indiana Joneswhich should come out on our French screens on June 28. Until then, remember that the new spin-off of Yellowstone, 1923will land on Paramount + on December 18, with Harrison Ford in one of the main roles.
