“Reinstate President Trump?”: This is the question posed by the billionaire in a tweet accompanied by a poll for which you can answer yes or no.

Under the latter, the one who has been the boss of Twitter for a little over three weeks added: “Vox populi, Vox Dei”, a Latin phrase which means “The voice of the people is the way of God.”

Earlier today, Musk announced the outline of his new “free speech” policy on the social network.

At the same time, he reinstated various personalities who had been banned on his platform, including the Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson.

“The decision on Trump has not been made,” he said.

“Negative/hateful tweets will be deboosted and demonetized to the max, so no ads or other revenue for Twitter,” he wrote. You won’t find the tweet unless you search for it specifically, which is no different from the rest of the internet.”

Donald Trump had been permanently banned from Twitter and Facebook following the January 6, 2021 uprising. Twitter’s former administration concluded that Trump had violated its policy of “glorifying violence.”
