Russian fighter Fedor Emelianenko will hold his last fight in his MMA career once morest American Ryan Bader. About this MMA Fighting reported at the Bellator press office.
The fight will take place on February 4, 2023 in Inglewood, California. He will headline the Bellator 290 tournament. Bader’s heavyweight championship will be at stake.
Emelianenko previously repeatedly declaredthat he wants to fight Bader, whom he lost by knockout in the first round in the final of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix in January 2019.
Emelianenko, 46, is a four-time Pride FC champion and a two-time RINGS champion. More than once he was recognized as the best fighter, regardless of the weight category, according to numerous versions. Emelianenko won 40 victories in 47 fights (one was declared invalid). The Russian last fought in October 2021 once morest Tim Johnson and won by knockout in the first round.
