Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior has allowed those who come to Saudi Arabia on a visit visa to drive rental vehicles. This is one of the five new public services launched on the ‘Abshir’ platform.
Public Security Director Lt. This was confirmed by General Mohammed Al Bassami.
However, as there is currently no ‘Abshir’ system for those arriving in the country on a visit visa, an official explanation is expected to come out later. The new services include replacement of stolen and lost number plates. New services include allowing airguns to private individuals and allowing the private sector to blast rock.
The Ministry stated that electronic services for the public are part of the transformation of the operations of the Ministry of Home Affairs into technological excellence. Official news media, the Saudi Press Agency, reported that the reforms will help citizens, expatriates and visitors to the country save time and effort and make the process easier for beneficiaries.
