New Lulu Hypermarket opened in Qatar

Doha | Just hours away from the FIFA World Cup kickoff, Lulu’s new hypermarket in Qatar has opened at Giordino, Pearl Qatar. The 1,42,000 sq.ft hypermarket was inaugurated by Qatari businessman Turki bin Mohammed Al Kather in the presence of Lulu Group Chairman MA Yousafali and Director Mohammad Altaf. The hypermarket also has a wide variety of sections for grocery, fresh food, household products, department store and Lulu Connect. A special section has also been set up for the marketing of local products from Qatar.

MA Yousafali said that he is happy that Lulu’s 20th hypermarket in the country, Pearl, has started operations in Qatar ahead of the World Cup. Many spectators and players are arriving in Qatar from many parts of the world. Pearl Authority has chosen Lulu to provide shopping facilities here. The proposal was to start the work a week before the start of the World Cup matches. Khatwar Prime Minister himself visited the hypermarket and evaluated the operations and expressed his satisfaction. Yousafali added that Lulu is also moving with Qatar’s changes and progress.

As the world reaches the peak of football excitement, Pearl Qatar Lulu Hypermarket has prepared many sights for the residents of Qatar and the spectators from different countries of the world who have come to witness the football spectacle.
