Gourdon. The first official Hunter of the equestrian club

The ACE, the equestrian club of Gourdon-Roquemeyrine, is a structure made up of volunteers whose only quest is to make their equine friends happy. A successful club, moreover, with its many quality labels concerning animal welfare. Similarly, the club is registered with the department as an organizer of races approved by the French Riding Federation.

This is how this Sunday, November 13, the Equestrian Center of Gourdon was able to present very beautiful courses and its riders obtain very good results during its first Hunter competition. 44 starters from 5 Lot clubs lined up in front of race judge Coline Bayle and her secretary Julie Raynaud.

It was a beautiful sunny day when the ponies clubs and equestrian centers in the area were present.

The Hunter consists of linking an obstacle course with the greatest possible harmony. These competitions judge the competitor’s position, level of riding and dressage, compulsory figures and use of aids.

To complete this beautiful atmosphere, the volunteers of the club had prepared a good cheese soup and delicious pancakes; all homemade well appreciated by all.

On December 11, the ACE is organizing an internal CSO and maneuverability competition which will be mainly reserved for young people and those who cannot go outside.

Similarly, the ACE welcomes you for courses, rides, ponies baptisms during school holidays and your horses can be accommodated. Info on 06 07 85 22 17.
