The late artist graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1974, and his start was by participating in the play “Cairo in a Thousand Years” 1969, and from there to the cinema where he participated in the movie “Visitor of the Dawn” in 1973, then he moved to television through the series “The Chance of a Life.” Where he presented the role of “Shaker Fadla” with the artist Mohamed Sobhi in 1976.
Sami Fahmy participated in other works, including films: “A date with Soso, Doubt, my love, I am neither a devil nor an angel, an assault,” and series: “On the margins of the biography, The Tower of Fortune, Al-Ayyam, Muhammad is the Messenger of God, Zainab and the Throne,” as well as the series “ The Story of Mizo” and presented the famous “Sultan” character.
