The Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, coach of the Iranian national team, announced the list of players for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which is led by the two stars, Mahdi Taremi, the Portuguese player, Porto, and Sardar Azmoun, the German player, Bayer Leverkusen.
The Iranian national team came in the World Cup in the second group, which also includes the teams of England, the United States and Wales.
The 2022 World Cup will be the sixth in the history of the Iranian national team, and the third in a row.
The following is the list of Iran’s national team:
Goalkeepers: Alireza Beranvand, Amir Abedzadeh, Hossein Hosseini, Payam Nismand.
Defense line: Rouzbeh Jalali, Abul Fadl Jalali, Majid Hosseini, Muhammad Hossein Kanaani, Shuja Khalilzadeh, Milad Mohammadi Kashmarzi, Sadiq Muharrami, Morteza Pouralighani, Ramin Rezaian.
Midfield: Wahid Amiri, Saeed Ezzat Allahi, Saman Quddus, Ali Golzadeh, Ihsan Haj Safi, Ali Karimi, Ahmed Nourahli.
Offensive line: Karim Ansarifard, Sardar Azmoun, Ali Reza Jahanbakhsh, Mahdi Taremi, and Mahdi Turabi.
