Asked by Yann Barthès regarding her habits in New York, Charlotte Gainsbourg revealed that she saw it as an opportunity to be there alone: “That’s what I found there, I didn’t expect it but that’s what I found so it allowed me to do things, to not be afraid, to not not to look at me, not to judge me”, she said.
