The healthy university, among the best practices in emotional well-being

Within the framework of the II Congress of Health Promoting Universities, held in Burgos at the beginning of November, its president, Antoni Aguiló, has granted recognition to the Rey Juan Carlos University for its work in the field of emotional well-being through of the healthy university program. This distinction has been joined by the president of the Ibero-American Network of Health Promoting Universities, Hiram Arroyo, doctor ‘Honoris Causa’ from the URJC

The book ‘Campus and healthy citizenships: studies for comprehensive health promotion in the Ibero-American region’ was presented at this same congress. In this volume, thirteen that stand out in this matter have been selected from among all the experiences presented by Ibero-American universities. Among them are several of those carried out within the framework of the URJC Saliable University program, on emotional well-being.

In addition, a few weeks earlier, the managers of the program, Ainhoa ​​Romero and Silvia Cruz, have participated in the ‘X Ibero-American Congress of Health-Promoting Universities’, held in the Portuguese town of Coimbra, in which they presented several papers to show the work carried out in said program in terms of Health Promotion.
